1. About This Document

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Growmycareer.io (the "Service"), operated by SC Labs, a sole proprietorship registered in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Growmycareer.io provides AI-assisted career intelligence, including Career Health Scores, salary benchmarking estimates, skill gap analysis, AI safety assessments, and resume tools. All outputs are generated using AI models and deterministic formulas and are labeled "AI-estimated" throughout the platform.

The Service is intended for personal, non-commercial career development purposes. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All scores, salary figures, skill assessments, and recommendations produced by the Service are AI-generated directional estimates. They are not verified market data, professional career advice, or guarantees of employment outcomes.

SC Labs makes no representation that any output from the Service is accurate, complete, or suitable for any specific purpose. You should independently verify important career decisions with qualified professionals.

The phrase "AI-estimated" appearing throughout the platform indicates that the figure was produced by an AI model and should be treated as a starting point for your own research, not as authoritative data.

4. User Accounts and Authentication

You may sign in using Google Sign-In. By signing in, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and that the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that are used for abusive, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from the platform at scale
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent profile information
  • Circumvent access controls or use the Service in ways that harm other users
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any output from the Service without written permission

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and outputs of the Service — including but not limited to the Career Health Score methodology, scoring formulas, UI components, and AI model prompts — are the intellectual property of SC Labs.

Your personal profile data and uploaded resume remain yours. By using the Service, you grant SC Labs a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your data for the purpose of delivering the Service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Subscriptions and Billing

The Service offers a free tier and a paid PRO plan. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

SC Labs reserves the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the paid Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SC Labs, its proprietor, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service — including but not limited to loss of earnings, loss of data, or career decisions made in reliance on AI-generated estimates.

SC Labs' total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to SC Labs in the twelve months preceding the claim, or ₹1,000 (whichever is greater).

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. SC Labs does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

10. Changes to the Service

SC Labs reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will endeavour to provide reasonable advance notice for material changes that affect paid users.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved by mutual discussion. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India.

If you are using the Service from outside India, you acknowledge that data may be processed in India and that Indian law governs this agreement, regardless of your location.
